🌿 TRIBAL WOMEN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH HAND PAINTING SKILL TRAINING 🌿

A journey of courage, determination, and transformation.

Several years ago, Dnyandeep Sanstha initiated a unique livelihood project for tribal women living in remote villages located in the Tadoba Buffer Forest region of Maharashtra.

Most of these villages had limited transportation facilities and very few employment opportunities for women. Many of these women had never held a paint brush in their lives.

The journey started with teaching basic drawing skills.

Step by step, these women learned:
✅ Basic Drawing
✅ Color Concepts
✅ Painting on Paper
✅ Fabric Painting
✅ Traditional Hand-Painted Art Products

This transformation did not happen overnight.

For over 3 months, Bhawana Janbandhu personally travelled every day to these remote villages using her own vehicle to conduct training sessions.

The journey was full of challenges.

There were days when people questioned the purpose of training women.

Some even discouraged the initiative, saying:

"Why are you teaching these women?"
"What will they achieve?"
"Will they become officers?"

Despite criticism, opposition, and difficult circumstances, the training continued.

Today, these women have developed beautiful hand-painting skills and are capable of creating artistic products that can generate income and support their families.
❤️ But the journey is not over.
These talented tribal women now need support in marketing and selling their handmade products.
