Since its inception, Dnyandeep Sanstha has been working across diverse social sectors with a people-centric and ground-level approach, focusing on long-term impact rather than short-term relief.
Founders & Legacy
Dnyandeep Sanstha was founded by the visionary social workers Late Dr. Chandrabhan G. Janbandhu and Mrs. Suman C. Janbandhu, whose dedication to social service laid the foundation of the organization.
Long before structured NGO initiatives became common, the founders undertook pioneering work for social upliftment, including:
- Establishment of a free girls’ hostel for rural and village school girls
- Providing free food, education, and care to underprivileged girls
- Initiating paramedical education to create employment opportunities in the healthcare sector
- Continuous involvement in education, health, and community welfare
Their vision was rooted in equality, dignity, and access to opportunities for marginalized communities. This legacy continues to inspire and guide the work of Dnyandeep Sanstha today.
